Dakota County CDA's Senior Housing program provides affordable, independent living opportunities for adults age 55 and older. Our communities are designed with seniors in mind, offering accessible features, community spaces, and a supportive environment while maintaining your independence.

We manage several senior housing communities throughout Dakota County, each offering a unique living experience with shared amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere.

  Barrier-free apartments with grab bars, wide doorways, and accessible bathrooms.

  Shared spaces for activities, gatherings, and socializing with neighbors.

• Emergency Call Systems

  Pull cords or pendants in each unit connected to 24/7 emergency response.

• On-Site Laundry

  Convenient laundry facilities on each floor or in-unit options.

• Elevators

  All multi-story buildings have elevators for easy access.

• Secure Entry

  Controlled building access with intercom systems for visitors.

Eligibility Requirements

Age Requirement

At least one household member must be 55 years of age or older.

Income Limits

Your household income must be at or below 50% of the Area Median Income:

How to Apply

3. Submit Application: Apply online through our Housing Portal or visit our office.
4. Join Waiting List: Once approved, you'll be placed on the waiting list for your preferred property.
